About BwD Adult Learning

We deliver courses across Blackburn with Darwen to help people improve their well-being and work prospects. 

We welcome all who have a desire to learn and progress their personal and professional development. We do this in a supportive and welcoming environment which all learners are encouraged to uphold for the comfort and enjoyment of each other.

Our purpose is to improve quality of life and raise ambitions of local people. We do this by working with them to:

We help over 3000 adults learn new skills and develop interests every year, ranging from healthy cooking, first aid, digital skills and food hygiene to improving your reading, writing and maths skills.

Audley & Queen's Park Neighbourhood Learning Centre

Bank Top Neighbourhood Learning Centre

  • Building is fully DDA compliant, with access, lifts to all floors, hearing loops, electronic height adjustable desk, disabled toilet
